This free session will provided hands-on opportunities to experience the Next Generation Science Standards practices and to analyze how they can be implemented in the classroom.  Be prepared to participate in hands-on activities that you can take right back to your district’s classrooms.

Also Presenting:  Make Any Classroom a Makerspace with presenter Obie Martin, Pearson Science Specialist

Makerspaces are everywhere, from television to your public library.  You can make your classroom into a makerspace without a lot of equipment or cost.  All you need is the right attitude and the willingness to promote innovation thinking in your students.
