Workshop Description:  Cris Tovani works with teachers from various content areas on literacy strategies.  Teachers will learn how to bring content specific text into the classroom to increase reading comprehension.  She will model ways to interact with text and share how she uses workshop model to differentiate instruction. Teachers will also investigate how to assess and grade for growth.
