8:00 am - 3:00 pm
Learning Lab 3 – The Structure That Supports Professional Development and Teacher Growth
During this two-day workshop, participants will observe an actual Learning Lab. Cris Tovani will model literacy strategies with secondary social studies students while Sam Bennett shows participants how to facilitate teacher growth in the building. The extended learning for the two days will focus on how to use learning targets and matched assessments to grade fairly and equitably.
Participants who did not attend the June or November workshops are warmly welcomed to join and learn more about energizing teachers to have more stamina, growth, and success with students. This workshop is recommended for educators who want to collaborate with colleagues, administrators who want to provide sustainable professional development, and district leaders who seek systemic change.
