The PDN is excited to announce our day long professional opportunity around AI on March 10, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at William Chrisman High School, 1223 N. Noland Rd., Independence.  This event is designed for: Instructional Technology Coaches/Specialists, Library Media Specialists, Curriculum Specialists, building and district leaders.

The following topic will be addressed at the conference:

AI Integration Strategies for Instruction:

  • Enhancing Instructional Strategies and Practices with AI
  • Continuum for AI Literacy Skills
  • Personalized Learning Opportunities for Students with AI

  • AI to Enhance Productivity

Professional Development and Training:

  • Staff Training Continuum

  • Cybersecurity/FERPA/DPA
  • Leadership Roundtable
  • AI Communication Plans for Stakeholders

  • Real World Learning with AI
  • Student Panel Discussion

Collaboration Session

  • A collaborative session to explore AI issues and topics with educators from other districts.

This event is open to 175 participants.  Each district may sign up 5 individuals. After November 15, if there are still openings for the workshop we will open the remaining slots to the districts on a first come first serve basis.
