The PDN is excited to announce our day long professional opportunity around AI on February 10, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at William Chrisman High School, 1223 N. Noland Rd., Independence. This event is designed for: Instructional Technology Coaches/Specialists, Library Media Specialists, Curriculum Specialists, building and district leaders.
The following topic will be addressed at the conference:
AI Integration Strategies for Instruction:

- Continuum for AI Literacy Skills
- Personalized Learning Opportunities for Students with AI

- AI to Enhance Productivity
Professional Development and Training:
- Staff Training Continuum
- Policy and Procedure Strategies
- Developing an AI Action Plan
- Cybersecurity/FERPA/DPA
- Leadership Roundtable
- AI Communication Plans for Stakeholders
Portrait of a Student
- Real World Learning with AI
- Student Panel Discussion
Collaboration Session
- A collaborative session to explore AI issues and topics with educators from other districts.
This event is open to 175 participants. Each district may sign up 5 individuals. After November 15, if there are still openings for the workshop we will open the remaining slots to the districts on a first come first serve basis.
